Summary
We're seeking a Frontend Engineer with experience in Vue.js to join our team. You'll work collaboratively with our PHP/Laravel developers to enhance and maintain the frontend of our Laravel-based application. This role involves building and refining Vue.js components, ensuring a seamless user experience, and integrating with our existing backend. We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive interfaces and who can effectively collaborate with both backend and design teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
Vue.js Development & Enhancement
Build new and maintain existing Vue.js components to deliver engaging user experiences.
Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designers while ensuring optimal performance.
Integrate Vue.js components seamlessly with our backend.
Refactor and improve existing Vue.js code for simplicity, maintainability and performance
Team Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with backend developers to understand the data structures and API endpoints.
Communicate effectively with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify project goals.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Implement caching strategies, query optimization techniques, and other performance-enhancing measures as needed.
Qualifications
Vue.js Proficiency: Proven experience building Vue.js applications with a strong understanding of Vue.js concepts and best practices.
JavaScript Fundamentals: Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+) concepts, including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming.
HTML & CSS Skills: Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles and modern layout techniques.
Problem-Solving Aptitude: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Skills
Experience with Vue.js state management libraries (e.g., Vuex, Pinia).
Familiarity with Vue.js testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Vue Test Utils).
Knowledge of build tools like Webpack or Vite.
